Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak ranks in nine of 16 categories and Beaumont Hospital in Troy ranks in one category on the prestigious 2007 U.S. News & World Report "Best Hospitals" lists.
This year marks the 13th consecutive year that Beaumont has had a presence on the lists. Out of 5,462 medical centers in the nation, just 173 made it into the rankings in any category on this year's "America's Best Hospitals."
Beaumont's 1,061 bed hospital in Royal Oak is a major teaching and referral center with Level I trauma designation.
Beaumont Hospital, Troy opened in 1977 and is a 296-bed acute care community teaching hospital that ranks among the top community hospitals in the nation.
